Accreditation
Notre Dame of Maryland University is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools and by the Maryland State Department of Education.
Notre Dame’s School of Pharmacy was granted full accreditation status by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), the official accrediting body of pharmacy preparation programs at U.S. colleges and universities, in 2013.
Notre Dame’s School of Education was granted full reaccreditation by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education in 2013.
Notre Dame’s School of Nursing RN to BSN program and the MSN program are accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). A substantive change proposal to include the entry level BSN program in the existing ACEN accreditation has been submitted to ACEN, and a decision is expected in Fall, 2013.
