AOM-718A: Treat Patients for Fertility

This course is an in-depth exploration of western medical conditions that negatively impact fertility, how to understand them from a Chinese medicine lens, and how to effectively treat patients with these conditions. Looking at women's menstrual cycle as it's relationship with yin/yang, the 12 primary channels and substances and how they relate to the cycle, students will learn how to spot imbalances with them through the menstrual cycle. This course also delves into using the 8 extraordinary vessels as they relate to fertility, how to use these vessels as well as when to use them. Point combinations as well as timing of treatments in relationship to the menstrual cycle will also be explored. [ 0 credits ]
