This course deepens students` understanding of the nature and causes of pain and the treatment and management of patients with acute and chronic pain. Students will demonstrate how to clinically approach pain from multiple perspectives, including five elements, the channels, and patterns of disharmony. The focus of this course will be on the clinical application of treatment strategies and will include students presenting and being mentored in the treatment of their own patients in the Natural Care Center student clinic. Prerequisite: ISCI-758B. [3 credits]
