This online program prepares participants to provide thoughtful, evidence-based approaches to reduce vulnerability; minimize risk to achieve organizational goals; and to acquire the knowledge and skills most in demand for careers in this growing field.

This non-degree, graduate-level certificate program is designed for students with a completed bachelor's degree and substantive professional experience that lends itself to developing risk expertise who desire further professional qualifications but are not seeking a full master's program, or who already have a graduate degree. Students should possess strong mathematical/quantitative skills, as evidenced in previous coursework. International students would need a strong command of the English language as indicated by an official TOEFL score (550 or higher).

Potential career opportunities include risk analyst, risk manager, risk management consultant, risk control supervisor, director of corporate risk management, and chief risk officer.

For the certificate program, no graduate credits may be transferred from other accredited institutions.
