Appropriate communication and documentation processes are essential to the risk management of a clinical practice and to support quality patient care. Students continue to hone their practice management skills with a focus on clinical models, inter-professional communication and relationships, management of referrals, transfer of care, and discharge. Students develop templates, scripts, and forms that can be utilized in their future practices to mitigate risk, support effective communication, and improve clinical care. Prerequisite: IHM-661. [1.5 credits]
