Successful clinical practices require a competent business setup. This final course in the practice management series focuses on budgeting, billing, and tax preparation; use of electronic health records or practice management software; and understanding participation in health insurance networks. Students continue to hone their practice management skills through applied assignments in risk management, including recordkeeping, insurance, forms and policies, and legal requirements. Prerequisite: IHM-762. [2 credits]
