Sustainable herbal supply chains are essential to creating reliable and ethical herbal products. Production, purchasing and processing of raw herbs represents the initial stage of herbal supplement manufacture. Students apply principles of botany, chemical ecology, and conservation to explore sustainable production via small and large-scale cultivation and wild plant stewardship.
