This course provides a basic understanding of the functioning of the major organ systems of the human body, their control and regulation, and how these systems communicate with one another. The course focuses on foundational physiological processes and functions that are relevant for the practice of integrative care. Students also learn introductory skills related to finding and interpreting physiology-based research. [3 credits]
