Topics include: numerical linear algebra, interpolation, numerical differentiation and integration, solution of nonlinear equation, numerical treatment of differential equations, and error analysis. Intended for mathematics, physics and engineering majors. Makes use of a mathematical software package such as Mathematica. Prerequisite: MAT-212. [3 credits]
