Examines the interplay of culture, politics, economics, and society of tour country; compares approaches to economic and social policies in tour country and the United States; examines how tour country's awareness and public perceptions of environmental issues have changed over time; explores how different economic and cultural systems in the U.S. and tour country affect life in the other countries.
