Prepares students to transition into professional nursing practice through the integration of leadersip, scholarship, and systems-based thinking grounded in the caring science tradition. Emphasizing person-centered, evidence-informed, and interprofessional approaches, the course develops students' capacity to deliver safe, high-quality care across diverse populations and settings. Students apply theoretical frameworks, quality-improvement and safety principles, informatics tools, and systems-level analysis to strengthen patient outcomes, foster collaborative practice, and enhance organizational performance. Through guided inquiry, reflection, and experiential learning, students cultivate professional accountability and ethical practice. Senior-level traditional undergraduate, ABSN and HABSN nursing students only. Online for Hybrid ABSN; face-to-face for Traditional BSN and ABSN programs.
