This course reviews and builds on the etiology and pathophysiology covered in previous coursework to discuss diagnosis and treatment from biomedical and Chinese medical perspectives. The biomedical differential diagnosis of a patient presenting with a certain set of signs and symptoms is compared with the diagnosis derived from theories within Chinese medicine. Biomedical and Chinese medical treatment strategies are also compared and contrasted. Prerequisites: AOM-615A and ISCI-648. [2 credits]
