Builds upon concepts from earlier coursework, emphasizing the comprehensive and collaborative care of adults with complex, multisystem, or rapidly evolving health conditions. Students refine clinical judgement by interpreting advanced assessment data, integrating evidence-based interventions, prioritizing care for high-acuity patients, and evaluating the effectiveness of nursing actions. Throughout the course, students demonstrate compassionate, evidence-based practice while fostering effective relationships with intra- and interprofessional team members. These experiences support the ongoing development of professional nursing practice and prepare students to manage the challenges of caring for medically complex patient populations.
