This is an interactive seminar course where students and faculty engage in mutual learning while critically examining issues in the primary care of infants and children, with an emphasis on wellness promotion, illness prevention, and treatment of common health problems among culturally diverse populations. Research and principles of evidence-based practice will be used to promote the health and wellbeing of infants and children. Caring between the nurse practitioner and family is essential and explored.
