Nutritional needs vary significantly throughout the human life cycle. This course explores physiological and pathophysiological changes at each stage and the role that nutrition plays from pre-conception through older adulthood. Nutritional, biological, social, behavioral, cultural, and environmental factors are considered. Students hone their knowledge and skills through reflection, discussion, and practical skill-building projects. Prerequisites: One of the following: NUTR-612 or NUTR-613. [ 3 credits ]
