In this course, students interpret and critically evaluate research study designs and determine their efficacy in answering different types of nutrition questions. Landmark studies in nutrition are analyzed for their strengths and limitations and their impact on the field. Students apply the results of research studies to client assessments and develop benchmarks for the application of the research to clinical cases. [ 3 credits ]
