This is the first of a two-semester course sequence designed for students to learn the basic principles and application of physicochemical properties necessary for the design, development, and preparation of pharmaceutical dosage forms. Through lectures and active-learniing strategies, students will learn the characteristics of various liquid dosage forms, methods of preparation, evaluation and their applications in pharmacy practice.
