Pharmacotherapeutics (PT) is a team-taught series of courses, combining material from major content areas, including pathophysiology, pharmacology, medicinal chemistry, and therapeutics. In this pharmacotherapeutics course, students will review key concepts of microbiology and acquire foundational knowledge of common infections and the antimicrobials used to treat them. Through traditional lecture, application of Important resources, and case studies, students will be able to provide the appropriate management of fungal, bacterial and viral infections.
