The Pharmaceutical Sciences Research elective is designed to provide students with the opportunity to engage in and learn about the process of scientific investigation. Students will work one-on-one with an investigator on a specific research project, providing them with the opportunity to read, evaluate and discuss primary literature pertinent to a specific research project, learn basic laboratory skills and protocols directed at addressing a specific research hypothesis/question and demonstrate their knowledg of background information about their project, data collected (if applicable) and the analysis of that data in both a written and oral format.
