This course explores complementary health approaches (e.g., herbal medicine, massage, acupuncture, yoga) in terms of basic theory, tools, techniques, evidence of effectiveness and potential harm. Focusing on current research, students learn to develop balanced evidence-based summaries as an educational resource for specific populations. Prerequisite: P2 or P3 standing.
