The purpose of these requirement courses is to help students prepare for the profession as they progress through the curriculum, ultimately demonstrating professional growth and achievement of learning outcomes over time. Students will gain skills in setting personal and professional goals, developing a curriculum vitae, creating an electronic professional profile, and reflecting on their progress toward becoming a competent pharmacist. Students will document their educational experiences with a diverse set of co-curricular activities and provide constructive feedback to instructors and the school to improve their learning experience. Faculty advisors will guide students in the process of developing their portfolio as a means of cultivating student self-awareness, leadership skills, creative thinking and planning, and professionalism.
