This course covers basic physiologic and pathophysiological concepts of diseases commonly encountered in primary care practice. The study of regulatory mechanisms responsible for maintaining homeostasis and the malfunctions that can occur at the molecular, cellular, tissue, organ, and system levels that can lead to disease.
