This course covers yogic practices and philosophy with a focus on promoting health and well-being. The interactions between body, breath, mind, intellect, emotions and spirit in health and well-being will be emphasized from both yogic and Western scientific perspectives. Students learn a range of yogic tools and techniques for common conditions along with relevant precautions and contraindications. [ 3 credits ]
