Explores the skills and ideas necessary for culturally competent health care practice. Throughout this course the students will learn about other cultural value systems while exploring their understanding of their own cultural identity. The course will promote the development of skills and culturally sensitive behaviors that will enrich therapeutic, client-centered interactions. Prerequisite: HSC-150.
